Temporary District Facilities

Because rented facilities, relocatable units and other emergency school housing are almost invariably inadequate for public school purposes, it is the aim of the Board to have sufficient permanent facilities to meet the needs of school enrollment and the school program.

If circumstances require immediate space which is not available in public school buildings, facilities will be rented and/or relocatable structures used only as a temporary measure. Any such facility must conform to all appropriate state and local building and land use codes, health and fire laws, environmental standards and provisions for accessibility and usability as required by the Americans with Disabilities Act.
